This is Famous Factory. Famous Factory Inc. is a Toronto based, family owned media holding company operating music, publishing, digital media, and content technology brands. That sentence is the whole company in one line, and this page, The Factory Floor, is where we say it in full, one statement at a time.

What we build and own

Our public line is simple: we build and own entertainment brands, books, media, and the technology behind them. Build and own are the two words that matter. We do not rent audiences on other people's platforms and call it a business. We create brands, we publish every day, and we hold the catalogue, the archives, and the tools as company assets that grow in value over time.

Under this roof sit six brands. OMYGOTTI is the music and artist brand. iimiTV is the media platform covering Canadian entertainment and hip hop. CurateKing is the content technology we built inside the house. Jo Anne Santos Books is the publishing arm. Card Crave is the collectibles store. Evander Wool is original character IP. Each brand has its own audience and its own lane, and every one of them reports to the same house.

Why a holding company

A holding company structure lets each brand stay focused while the house carries the business behind it. The music can be music. The books can be books. The software can be software. Contracts, revenue, technology, and long term planning sit at the parent level, where they are handled once, properly, instead of six times in six different ways.

It also means the house can think in decades. A song catalogue, a media archive that has been publishing since 2009, a trilogy of books, and a software platform are not weekly projects. They are assets. The company exists to build them carefully, protect them, and put them to work for the family that owns them and the audiences they serve.

What happens on The Factory Floor

Every weekday statement we publish on Instagram at @famousfactoryinc gets its full version here. The short post states the point. The article on this page explains it, with the proof, the history, and the reasoning behind it. If you want to understand what this company is building, this is the record.

Owned by the people who built it

Famous Factory Inc. is owned by Kemeion Coutain and Jo Anne Santos. There is no outside board and no silent partner. The artist and the poet are the owners, and the company was formed to hold their work properly: the music, the books, the media platform, the store, and the software, all under one set of books and one standard of care.

That ownership is why this blog exists in this form. Companies that are built by their owners can speak plainly about what they are doing, because there is nobody to perform for. We state what the house is, we show the work as it ships, and we keep the record public. The Factory Floor is that record.

Start with the brands, then follow the build. We publish from Toronto, we own what we publish, and we are just getting started.
